But First, Why Visit Suffolk Park?

Suffolk Park is a beautiful place to visit. With scenic views and plenty to do, it’s a great place to spend time with family or just relax and enjoy the outdoors. There are also numerous activities for you and your family to participate in, including water activities like kayaking and taking a tour of the Cape Byron Lighthouse.

Things To Pack

1. Beach clothes

Suffolk Park is only 5km away from Byron Bay beach and a few minutes’ walk away from Tallows Beach, so you may as well make the most of it! We recommend visiting the beach at least once during your visit with us, so pack your beach towels and some games for the kids for a fun-filled day out.

2. Swimming costumes

If the beach isn’t your thing, don’t worry, we have an outdoor pool onsite at The Park Hotel. Our large pool provides the perfect place for our guests to relax and unwind if they want a more chilled day. Just make sure to pack your swimming costumes and goggles so the kids can play some games! We also have a playground for the kids to explore while you chill out on our deck.

3. Good walking shoes

Good walking shoes are important if you want to explore everything that Suffolk Park and the surrounding areas have to offer. You’ll certainly need them for trekking and exploring Suffolk Park’s coastlines and hinterland rainforest. There’s also plenty of marine life to see on the shoreline, so make sure you pack some waterproof shoes too. Here at The Park Hotel, we offer a complimentary bus service that goes to Baywood chase and Broken Head from Suffolk Park, so you can explore the wider area with ease.

4. A camera

Bringing a camera is a must for capturing memories during your stay in Suffolk Park. Plus, with all the amazing scenery on our doorstep, plus lots of wildlife and marine life, you’ll have plenty of photo opportunities. The views surrounding our restaurant and accommodation are bound to impress your Instagram followers!
